Affiliate Disclosure
This page covers two separate things: the links ScaleLounge shares to other companies' tools and services, and the ScaleLounge Affiliate Program, which pays people who refer businesses that become ScaleLounge clients.
Our Recommendations of Third-Party Tools
Our Promise
Any tool, product, or service we recommend is one we genuinely stand behind. Our recommendations are based on real experience and honest opinion. We suggest something because we believe it can help you, not because we are paid to say so.
Affiliate Relationships
From time to time we may recommend third-party tools and services. Some of the links we share may be affiliate links. This means that if you click one of these links and sign up or make a purchase, we may earn a commission. This comes at no additional cost to you. You pay the same price whether you use our link or not.
Earning a commission never changes what we recommend or why. We only point you toward tools we would use ourselves, and our honest assessment always comes first.
Why We Share This
United States Federal Trade Commission guidelines ask businesses to disclose affiliate relationships and paid endorsements, and this page is how we do that. We want to be transparent that some of the links on our sites and in our content may be affiliate links, so you can make informed decisions.
The ScaleLounge Affiliate Program
Separately, ScaleLounge runs its own Affiliate Program. Approved affiliates are paid by ScaleLounge when a business they refer becomes a ScaleLounge client. This is the reverse of the links above: here ScaleLounge pays the commission, rather than earning one.
How Commission Works
Affiliates earn 20% recurring commission on the eligible subscription amounts ScaleLounge collects from clients they refer. Commission begins with the referred client's second qualifying monthly payment and continues while eligible payments continue. The full terms are in the Affiliate Program Agreement.
What Affiliates Disclose
Every affiliate agrees to disclose their relationship with ScaleLounge clearly whenever they recommend it, in the post, story, video or message itself. The wording ScaleLounge asks them to use is: "I may earn a commission if you sign up through my link." For a direct introduction it is: "I may earn a commission if you become a ScaleLounge client through my introduction." When ScaleLounge contacts a business an affiliate introduced and mentions the affiliate, it says that the affiliate may be paid for the introduction.
What It Means for You
You pay the same price whether or not you arrive through an affiliate's link. An affiliate's recommendation is their own: affiliates cannot offer custom pricing, promise results or agree terms on ScaleLounge's behalf, and every proposal and agreement comes from ScaleLounge directly.
